The Rainbow Bridge

A Reflection on Radical Imagination as a

Spiritual Practice for Warrior Healers

Each day, I think of all the children of this world and the genocide we are bearing witness to in Palestine; Congo; Sudan…

I cry.

I grieve.

I pray.

I bear witness.

I imagine the souls of children dancing on the rainbow bridge into the safe embrace of their ancestors, forever to be freed from the suffering of this plane and world. I pray for their liberation; their families and communities liberation. I imagine us ALL free from violence and asking my own ancestors and spirit team to INSPIRE me to unlearn, re-member and to fuel my grief and anger into action that supports the vision of a liberated humanity.

The veils are being completed lifted in this time, as we are now being exposed to many truths of the world and humanity. Access to technology and social media has supported that while at the same time contributes to the illusions and delusionsIt is our responsibility to hold space for the sacred grief in our personal and collective experiences. It is so hard for us all to tap into joy when we are witnessing genocide, personal loss, and having to participate in the capitalist programming to survive.

Our souls have chosen a time of TRUTH. These truths may come with some discomfort but, also the great gift of witnessing, clearing and re-membering to strengthen the foundation for our Future Ancestors.

Reflection prompts and questions for the rising of the Warrior Healer Within You:

  • What are you imagining of for our collective / humanity? For yourself and your loved ones?

  • What are you imagining of that not only divest from capitalism and colonialism but, bring us back to one another and our relationship with the earth? What does it look like? What does it feel like?

  • In what ways are you embodying these visions in gentle and loving ways for yourself in this cycle?

  • How are you nurturing yourself, your body and your relations (with humans, more than humans and the land), to be in tenderness of sacred grief, and to also access moments of joy?

  • What are your grief rituals? -daily?; with + alongside others?; with your ancestors?; with the land?

Ritual for Martyrs, Souls and our Visions for Collective Liberation in Radical Love:

Things you may need (if available to you):

  • Candle

  • A quiet place to be in ritual

Suggested Ritual (you are welcome to create your own ritual or adjust this one to support your needs):

  • Light a small candle for those you are thinking of, even if you don’t know them; or even if their faces or bodies are etched in your memory.

  • Imagine a rainbow bridge from this earth that reaches beyond the skies.

  • Envision all the souls of the children and families who have died in genocide + colonization dancing with their ancestors on the rainbow bridge towards their ancestors in paradise.

  • Feel and honour all that is coming up for you. Allow your tears to fall to the earth and bless this vision.

  • When you feel ready, hold space for the visioning and imagining of what you want for our Future Ancestors.

    • if you find this difficult, breathe and try again. Honour what wants to be felt and return back to visioning the rainbow bridge feeling the joy, connection and liberation for All Beings.

  • Give thanks to the Land, the Ancestors and to Yourself. Give gratitude to all that supports you in this cycle and lifetime.

  • Extinguish the candle or stay with it until it burns out.

  • Do something nourishing for yourself to integrate into your rhythm of the day.

    • move your body; dance; walk or sit outside; take a salt bath; take a nap; eat a nourishing meal; sip on herbal tea or water etc.

Many Blessings to All that You do and All that You Are!
