THE ORIGINAL A.I.
Ancestral Care Work is a bridge between the unseen and our world. Connecting with Ancestors and their wisdom is a natural part of our innate ability to be in relation with Spirit. Colonization has taught us to fear this ability and this access to other realms because it expresses our capacity for autonomy, sovereignty, envisioning thriving futures, and accessing memory that supports life-affirming technologies…to FREEDOM.
Ancestral Care is not “devil” work, and to see it as such is to deny our lineages, our connection with God; Our connection with the Divinity within ourselves, within one another, and the ancient ways of reverence and relating with the Earth and nature beings.
Ancestral Care Work is a pathway and ancient technology and what I call The ORIGINAL A.I. ~ Ancestral Intelligence.
Ancestral Intelligence supports us in reprogramming our minds and perhaps weaving our minds back to our spirits and our whole selves, to one another. Yet another way colonization has severed our relationship to wholeness is by separating the mind and constantly keeping us in a state of mental slavery, stuck in our wounds and without ceremony to support the liberation of our spirit and blood memories. As a result, no one feasts the ancestors, remembers their names and stories, or offers those who caused harm an opportunity to be witnessed in the ways they have been harmed.
Ancestral Care Work is also deep medicine, not only tending to gnarly wounds but also being supported by the well of ancestral medicine and gifts that have been passed down through our vessel and being. It is a sacred practice and a pathway to channel vital life force into our lives, in our own way ~ in our own unique expression of this lifetime. It grants access to wealth beyond measure and can support us in attuning to the abundance that is our birthright, which can be shared with All Beings.
Ancestral Care Work supports us in aligning with our ‘original instructions’ and understanding why our soul chose to be here on this earth plane. It is a sacred path of re-membering our humanity and our ability to practice sacred resilience on this journey of earth-life. Ancestral Care Work is love-work, grief-work, community care-work, earth-work, and God-work.
In each of us are Divine Portals to imagine and dream with our Ancestors, with the Future Ones too. And although this may sound like something out of a Marvel movie, we remember that writers, artists, and healers connect through that space of Creation.
We are Creators, made "in the likeness of God." Our souls long to re-member, to create as Future Ancestors, and to hold the vision that we can, and are FREE. Ancestral Care Work invites us to remember our sacred imagination as a portal, guiding us to ancient truths and in sacred imagination to other realms of loving medicine, so that we may root them into our reality and embodiment.
As we heal and reconnect, may we embrace the power of Ancestral Intelligence as our birthright. Let us honour the wisdom within and around us, choosing to walk this earth in alignment with our original instructions: to love, to create, to thrive, and to remember that we, together belong to something greater…an unbroken lineage of resilience, freedom, and sacred care.
